I have been writing all my life. My first degree, in North Carolina, was in Marketing, followed by another in English Literature and then still later, another in Journalism, both of these in Georgia. My graduate degree is in Rhetoric in Public Culture, summed up in a nutshell, this means we studied spin and its viability in the public sphere. This one came from Indiana University.
I do freelance work, proofing, editing and copywriting, in addition to the fiction work I do for my own pleasure. I am a member of Chicago Literary Society and produce papers for them once a year (not allowed to more than that, sighs).
I have written technical essays, researched trivia, and am most familiar with food, history and culture. My ability to research is unparalleled and I never get tired of learning and writing about new things. I have a great grasp of nuance and can be succinct in my writing and yet still get the message across. You will not be disappointed. Actually, you will be ecstatic!
